| dc.description | Este trabajo se llevó a cabo con el fin de comprender mejor la neuroanatomía química del área preóptico-hipotalámica del sapo, y especialmente los mecanismos regulatorios involucrados en el control de varios de los múltiples mensajeros neuronales allí presentes. Se analizó la influencia de manipulaciones experimentales en la expresión de sustancias neuroactivas poniendo énfasis particular en las neuronas que contienen el péptido galanina. Por otra parte un objetivo central de este trabajo de tesis fue estudiar las variaciones en la expresión de estas sustancias en condiciones extremas como por ejemplo durante la lesión neuronal. | - |
| dc.description | This work was conducted in order to get a better understanding of the chemical neuroanatomy of the preoptic-hypothalamic region of the toad and the regulatory mechanisms involved in the expression of some neuronal transmitters in the area. We studied the influence of experimental manipulations in the immunoreactivity of several neuroactive substances, with a particular interest in galanin containing neurons. A special aim of this work was to investigate the differential expression of these molecules under extreme circumstances such as neuronal damage. | - |
